[ On Christmas morning, Toge will find a parcel wrapped in brown paper and tied up with a cream silk ribbon. There's a tag stating "From Steve - Merry Christmas."

Inside contains a pair of hand-knit fingerless gloves in the dark blue-black that matches Toge's cowl. They are similarly ribbed. ]

[ Steve will receive his package in return the evening of the 25th. It's a huge sparkly silver snowflake bag.

Inside there are several tupperware containers. One with a high lid that contains eight snowman cupcakes, another the same size with eight gingerbread man cupcakes with cream cheese frosting filling, complete with cookie on top and another container filled with various christmas cookies.

There's a card inside: Merry Christmas Steve, thanks for the gift - Toge Inumaki

[ She was far from settled, even after she'd talked to Nanami and hit Gojo and her footsteps slowed as she approached Toge's door. It's several moments of just staring before she finally curls her hand around the knob and pushes the door open. ]

[ He knew Maki was missing, and he's been worried, but sometimes she goes off on her own to get a break from them so he wasn't too bothered.

Toge's alarmed when he sees her. He's in the kitchen, which is not weird, but he's just making tea. ]

[ Not really, and Toge's response is to raise his eyebrows at that and gesture to her. Clearly he's missed a lot. Yuta didn't mention her state at all. He probably just didn't think of it. Not to him anyway.

Toge makes a beckoning motion and opens his arms. ]

[She does hesitate even if only briefly before she closes the space between them, wrapping arms around him and letting her head drop, resting against his.]

[ He smiles slightly and wraps his arms around her, giving her a firm squeeze. He's not afraid of hurting her, she's scarred but it doesn't look fresh enough to be too painful that a hug would change that. She'll tell him if he's hurting her. ]

Tuna mayo? [ The question can be only one - what happened? ]

We should probably sit down before I go into everything. [Even if she doesn't want to move just yet.

[ Getting scooped up doesn't illicit a protest from him, just a soft grunt, and being pulled onto her lap, he just makes himself comfortable, resting his arms on top of hers, tilting his head to listen. ]
